I couldn't believe how cheap it was in Paris compared to how expensive it is in the United States right now.
And the reason is because we just printed so much money, almost $8 trillion we printed.
So if we print that much money, why should we be surprised we're experiencing 30%, 40%, 50% inflation rates?
Because that's how much we flooded the market with new cash.
And there's a certain point where that no longer works and the banks just start saying, no, we're not going to do this low interest rate environment anymore.
So the only thing we can do is go to war because that becomes a massive injection of fiscal spending.
Right.
So that means we have to go through a cycle every 11 years, 11 to 14 years of a war, period.
It's as simple as that.
So the fact that we've been collecting taxation since 1913, and that became the catalyst for having a war cycle every few years, to me is just like, has nothing to do with any moral authority whatsoever, and I think the West has lost its moral authority.
I'm sorry, when we're talking about our leaders all eating babies and doing this kind of stuff, it's like, we need to wake up.
There's no doubt about it because, of course, that's, I mean, it makes money.
It's kind of like the health care industry.
The two places, and I was a pharmaceutical CEO.
The two places where you just see the most fuckery is in those areas where you're supposed to be protecting wearing the white coat in the pharmaceutical industry.
And it's basically just a veneer.
But they think that it's true.
They think that it's all right.
And that's why they could justify, oh, yes, my new cancer treatment is $200,000 per treatment.
Or my Lucentis treatment is $2,000 a treatment.
