And even in the countries where you had freedom fighters, they were fighting against despotic autocrats.
They themselves became the villain that they were fighting against.
They always do.
It's like hope that you live long enough to defeat the villain, but not so long do you become the villain.
And that's exactly what's been happening.
And we just do it on our watch.
We let it happen because we're complicit in it by just agreeing with it.
Because we don't want to upset the apple cart.
