Make no mistake, Bo Nix did not play well.
But they didn't help protect him either against a Chiefs team that looked like they were out to prove a point that they still own the AFC West.

Well, early in the season, what are the problems for teams?
Usually offenses start slow because the passing game isn't quite in sync yet.

And defenses struggle to tackle.
So if you run the football, you're forcing the defense to do what they don't do well.
And you're allowing the offensive line to do what they want to do, which is move people, lean on them and grunt and force the man to go somewhere he doesn't want to go.
So I think that's a big part of it for the Broncos.
You know, they ran the division last season and the Chiefs came out and said not today.
