I don't think that's particularly bad.

I think you've got a very

mm active, sometimes febrile, but very dynamic political um arena, um uh uh one end of SW one.

And then you've got this very solid bit of the other that just sort of makes sure that everything kind of ticks along and leaves the politicians to get on with it.

And I just think it

It works.

It's not rational.

I mean if you were starting if you were starting a new country tomorrow, you wouldn't think, Oh, we've got to find one family and give them everything shiny and and posh in perpetuity.

I mean you wouldn't.

But it's it's how we've evolved and it it it just it works.

I mean there's a there's a rather interesting survey that comes out every year which I always like looking at called the UN Development Index and it's essentially the UN's sort of index of where's the b what's the best country in the world and it it has various metrics such as um uh life expectancy, education, income, GDP, all this stuff, and they put it through the the the sort of the

No algorithm.

And every single time the the the in the top ten, about half of monarchies at the top twenty, uh I think it's twelve out of twenty are monarchies.

And when you consider it's a hundred and ninety three countries, but only forty are monarchies, that's that's a disproportionate result.

These are constitutional monarchies.

These are not the um the absolute ones like Saudi and whatever, they come in a bit further down, but um

If you look in the top ten, Britain isn't in the top ten actually, but you've got um Norway, Sweden, uh Denmark, uh yeah, Denmark, uh and Australia.

Australia, um which of course the king is king of Australia.

And then you look at the top twenty, Britain's in there, I mean number fifteen, I think New Zealand, Canada come in there.
