Yeah, of course it's absurd to say that by having a hereditary state you've got a longer life expectancy.

I mean that's I I wouldn't I wouldn't posit that as a sort of logical argument.

But you can look at the at that sense of stability and and continuity.

What what a modern constitutional monarchy at sort of sense of uh confidence, if you like, that it gives uh a a country.

By the way, I mean the top the top one is is Switzerland, I think.

And I mean you've got

Others in the mix, including uh you know, Ireland's right up there.

It's very clearly not a monarchy, can't stand the monarchy.

Um, but but but overall.

It just it it shows that when people say, Oh, it's it's such it's sort of so backward, why don't we grow up as a nation?

We should we've got to grow up as a nation and and modernize and why we've got this sort of throwback system.

Uh to which I said, Well, if you know, if you if you want to grow up as a nation, just look at the the all these countries, you say Norway and Sweden and Denmark, Japan.

Japan doesn't just have a monarch, it's got an emperor, for God's sake.

Um, you know, they seem to deal right with that.

So it it it

It's just a system that um like I said, it's evolved.

Uh I think it would be incredibly uh unsettling, damaging, and frankly constitutionally suicidal to try and dismantle it.

It just works.

Don't fix it.
