So yeah, I mean, of course she has uh a a a part to play in it.

I it it's just really sad.

I I think the whole they could have been such

Such an asset to the monarchy, particularly to the Commonwealth.

I mean that's what the Queen thought.

uh when when um when they were getting married.

I mean she made both of them she gave them these very sort of senior positions as sort of ju yeah as as Commonwealth youth ambassadors.

Um she uh had all sorts of high hopes.

She gave she set aside um one of the oldest and and most important of her patronages, which is the Association of Commonwealth Universities, which is one of the oldest I think it's the oldest university sort of pan global

International University Association.

And the Queen had been a patron of that for her whole reign.

And she said, No, let's give that to Meghan.

This would be very useful.

Give her a platform.

She can go and talk about important issues in an apolitical space.

So the Queen really had high hopes and was very touched on Meghan's wedding day and Meghan's veil at the uh at her wedding.

She'd had all the flowers of every single nation of the Commonwealth embroidered into her veil.

And it was charming.

Um touch.
