Part of what's going on is that there are lawyers, and this is a particularly hurtful thing to me as a trained attorney.
There are lawyers that are aiding and abetting

It's lawyers that need to advise the administration, the leadership, and the agents themselves of what the law requires of them.

And every lawyer with a conscience needs to make an appeal to our colleagues, our fellow lawyers, that the bedrock of the United States of America is our adherence to the law, the rule of law, the Constitution and the guiding principles that are applicable to lawyers everywhere.
