There were real people that's affected it.
And in Black Rock, White City, I felt that those parts were difficult to read and it felt raw and it felt real and it felt honest.
The parts in this that go back to the war in Sarajevo, to me, there were a lot of explosions going off.
There were a lot of gunfire.
There were a lot of bloodied shirts, but I never felt like it was happening to real people.
I never felt the repercussions of what was happening.
I never felt that trauma, that sickness, that just horribleness that this was.
And that was 10 seconds, you know, me sitting in a comfortable studio, listening to that.
And that's the stuff we're dealing with here.
And I absolutely don't think this was taken lightly by Dan Sheehan.
I don't think it was taken maliciously at all.
I just feel like for me, if you're going to try and combine these three things together, boy, you better handle it in a really sophisticated, understanding, comprehensive way.
And it just wasn't there for me.
And I found it really hard to read.
But maybe this material is so difficult.
Yeah, but it's interesting to me.
I absolutely don't think these things are off the table and we see so often.
Sometimes these things seen through an understanding comedic lens can put some air into the situation and people can talk about it and people can understand it and it's a way in for people.
It's absolutely on the table, but it's a big task.
It's something that needs to be done in a completely understanding, comprehensive way.
