If in six months' time the markets decide, oh, we've got I mean, even though this AI thing is really exciting, we've slightly exaggerated the revenues that we think are going to come out of AI, and we're not sure the debt associated with AI is going to be repaid. matched

And yet a combination of both tumbling share prices and and debt. matched

An AI debt looking as though it's not going to be repaid. matched

And you had that kind of shock, right? matched

Now, it is theoretically possible that you'd get the normal flight to safety in those circumstances, and investors around the world will think, oh, maybe we'll just put our money in the dollar. matched

And maybe in those circumstances we will back President. matched

President Trump, and actually, you know, it would be good for purchases of US government debt. matched

If that were to happen and we were to see a a massive fall uh in the price of AI related stocks, that would be associated also with a con a very big drop in expectations of US economic growth, right? matched

Because you know, so much of America's economic growth is being powered by this AI investment. matched

And so matched

I mean, you might just get investors saying, oh, hang on a second. matched

The reason I've been lending to the US is because it's you know one of the fastest growing economies. matched

It's not because of the AI collapse gonna be a fast growing economy, uh certainly for a while. matched

And I mean you could have a situation where you had a twin crisis of both an American sovereign debt crisis coupled with an AI equity and debt. matched

There's just a an enormous amount of anxiety at the moment about how close to matched

genuine Armageddon financial markets are. matched

I'm not be absolutely clear forecasting Armageddon tomorrow, but there are some, to use a phrase, really huge financial imbalances uh in the world and most of them um are located right now in a both the American private and public sector. matched
