sort of one guess as to why informal political representation has received so little attention, at least you know, in the academic literature among people who you would think would think, you know, would write about this stuff, is that it m you know, maybe it seems obvious to some people, um, or maybe some people tend to think it's obvious, that informal representatives and informal political representatives more particularly are
Or just like the formal kind, just absent the procedural s you know, scaffolding.

Now one of the things that you take up from the start in the book is that you think this is wrong, that the that informal representation is uh kind of distinct, autonomous, or presents us with some distinct, autonomous kinds of normative questions.
Can you tell us a little bit about about w wh why you think that's the case?

There's a phenomena there there are phenomena there that make um these two categories of representative distinct.
