That's the point.
And that's when I had to make some changes.
That's when I hired my my first manager and um that's when I hired my uh first assistant and and that's when we started I changed the focus from uh you know just bringing people on to now also developing them, you know, equipping and developing them to be able to uh to lead well, to be able to do
what needed to be done.
Um
just as good or better than I could have and and and then I would have.
And then also that's when I started to put things into place like systems and processes in place.
Instead of I used to I used to, you know, just kind of allow people to do things the way they thought it should be done, you know?
Right.
And um that, you know, that that that
It's not a good plan.
Um because you know, number one, everybody has a little different way they think it should be done and
And um number two, uh I had a way, which I think it should be done.
And and you know, meaning, meaning, you know, and that could be very significant in some cases, you know, like talking about our values and how we show up uh to the world and so on.
And um
The point of all that is that I realized it is that I needed to make a shift and the challenge was me.
And so I became a student of leadership and I started investing in my own personal development and my growth as a leader.
And then it transferred over into some of these things that I that I mentioned to you.
And so um, what has happened over time?
You know, a lot of times you realize looking back at things that you thought something was for you.
