And he's most famous for his theory that markets, the stock markets mainly, are efficient.

Essentially, they bake in the prices from the views of every investor around the world, every trader.

So over time, you know,

maybe stocks fall, stocks rise, but at any given moment, they are correct, as it were.

They are right because they are reflecting the sum of all views.
