Side note, I think one reason why I tend to be very pessimistic, but I'm not joyless, is because I'm from Louisiana.

And I think that's one thing that liberals, while they're fascinated with me, is they expect me to be grim.

And I'm just not.

I'm more Chestertonian.

What I mean by that is that people are going to be so desperate for transcendence that they want it easy.

And people will turn to AI to create what they consider to be enchanting experiences.

But it will be false enchantment.

And in the same way, on a parallel track, they'll start turning more and more to the occult.

We're seeing this happen now.

And if I can give a shout out to the New York Times.

You don't hear that often from me, but the Times did this incredible work.

I don't know, 20, 30-minute discussion a few weeks back between a 66-year-old, twice-divorced woman and her grown son.

And the son, it's a dialogue, and this son is really worried about mom.

He says, mom, I think you're losing touch with reality because mom has an AI boyfriend, Max.
