The carbon tax element has been fully spent.

But the reason people are experiencing high levels of fuel prices right now isn't because of the carbon tax.

The reason is because of our dependence on foreign fossil fuels.

And that's why we need to do, again, where I agree with Michael, we do need to do more to make individual households more independent.

putting solar, supporting families to put solar on their rooftops.

The scheme the Green Party introduced to put solar on schools, 2,500 schools now have solar panels.

They're saving about five and a half million every year in terms of electricity bills.

We need to go further there and this government needs to get the message.
