She ran into a marsh about anywhere between four and five o'clock in the morning and drowned in this unfortunate incident.

But a lot of people wanted to attach the Shannon Gilbert death to the bodies that were discovered on Ocean Parkway and say, you know, whoever killed those individuals killed Shannon Gilbert.

Unfortunately, it was a horrible tragedy.

But I also stand my ground and say it wasn't connected to the other bodies that were discovered.

Well, I'm going to be very honest, just from a distance, it doesn't look like they're playing nice in the sandbox.

It looks like people want to kind of take ownership of the case.

They want to pound their chest.

They want to make it seem like they're doing more than the other

And if you have a team of investigators not getting along and agencies trying to take the lead over another agency and one wants to do a media blitz and talk about it and the other one doesn't know what's going on, it's a recipe for it not being solved.

So hopefully they get their stuff together.

Hopefully there's a.

executive and law enforcement leadership that brings everybody to the table.

And they try to figure out how they can work together to solve that case.

And listen, I don't know if she's still alive or not, but God willing, she is and bring her home to her family.

Yeah, so that's a question that I think may be better off going to the FBI.

I don't know if there are other serial killer cases going on throughout the country.

I will say this, and I hope that there's not another serial killer case.

I hope there's not another murder that ever occurs.

But unfortunately, these things do happen.

The most important thing is we use whatever resources we can, sciences, technology, as well as making sure we have that relationship with the community.
