So yeah, so the so the big ticket for during our days is the Q two CPI in New Zealand.
Um the consensus is looking for a jump to three point one from four percent in terms of the headline and the quarterly number to be one point four.
So so big, big numbers in terms of inflation.
Um when it comes to uh the the trim mean or rather all this uh alternative measures, the four core measures that
that the the bank uh the RBN said prefers.
Um uh the the expectations are that maybe we we get a positive surprise in in the sense of being slightly below um uh the consensus.
Uh but it's still the they're all gonna be seen remaining on the top half of that one two three percent ban.
So overall uh you know it keeps the it should keep the the RBN set hawkishness on track and and we should
still expect uh more hikes coming over coming coming quarters.
No, th the the bottom line is and there's no major surprises.
Maybe on the positive side that the expectations that uh the private sector uh wages are not expected to rise, that they're gonna remain at two point nine, so that's pretty benign.
So overall what the dynamics within the labour market um are are not seen as inflationary.
Um and um it should it shouldn't really create any m major concerns for for the Bank of England.
Excellent stuff.
There isn't.
And uh and and in fact, you know, if after reading all those headlines you would think well all prices probably should be a little bit higher.
