Yeah, I I think that uh there's a I suppose a distinction of what's going on in terms of the the impact from the rise in oil prices and energy prices in general, um because that's another important point to make.

So when you look at you know, the consumption of oil is one thing, but their energy prices tend to be correlated.

Um so while it's true that the US is facing higher oil prices because of the conflict

Uh when it comes to, for instance, gas prices, it's not the same story.

Gas prices remain very subdued in the US because effectively they've got lots of gas and they can't really export it because they haven't got the ships to actually get them some uh where it's needed.

And and Europe is a little bit more challenged because they need that gas and some of it is coming from the Middle East.

So overall, so in terms of the energy impact, it is beyond oil, and when you look at relativities.

I think it's probably fair to say that the US is well or m much better well placed compared to Europe and even, you know, here in Asia and in and Australia.

Yeah.

So um so yeah, in from from that perspective I would say that um um

the the US is is doing better from from that sort of energy challenge and at the same time, economically speaking, maybe in some instances they're benefiting more than others.

So when we look at all the numbers that we got, um I think there's a there's a couple of sort of patterns that we can highlight.

Manufacturing is is definitely performing better.

Um we need to be mindful of what that means.

Uh I think that there is some evidence suggesting that it's a little bit of front loading uh if you like, because of all the challenges that are coming through from the war.

Um so maybe this is showing

as positivity or or c uh you know um expansionary sort of signals but uh there's a question mark as to how sustainable they can be.

Uh and the other observation that you make is that when you look at relativities, um uh the US and the UK are the ones that fare best.
