I would say it's across the board, not sector by sector.
I wouldn't say that QSR is doing better than health care or better than retail.
I think it's a brand-by-brand decision whether a bank is going to loan money, and a lot of that has to do with what the disclosure the bank has relative to that particular borrower or that particular system.
The
Banking environment is one of fear.
It's still there.
The fear of the regulator, the fear of the auditor, the fear of the inspector general's office as it relates to SBA, they want to make sure that they have done diligence at a level that will pass that scrutiny of the regulator, not just the credit officer in the bank.
And in doing that, the file needs to be properly papered to the
show that the bank did their diligence not only on the borrower but also on the franchise system.

The guy who taught me about franchising was a guy named Tony Martino.
And he started three franchise companies, two that bore his name.
One is Amco, one is Mako, and the other was Goddard Schools.
And I was actually a franchisee of Goddard.
