So they arrived, I think that night and they went out for a few drinks that night and then the following morning, which would have been, uh, just the evening for Ireland, um,
She FaceTimed myself and Liam and she was just showing us around the apartment and that.
And then they, you know, they went out that night then and that's when it happened, you know.
She was hit by a car, just crossing the road.

You know, and I was just sat up, I think I drank, I had a bottle of wine and then I just got into bed and then the next morning I woke up to a phone call and it was a foreign number and I just, you know, that's another one of these scam calls, you know, and then it rang again.
And I didn't answer it again and then a text came through then and it was Clare's brother Jack and he just texted me and said Ronan it's Jack answer the phone.
So I knew something was up.
So I got up out of bed.
It was about half nine in the morning and Liam was already up.
He was just down in his playroom watching YouTube or something like that.
I just went out the back and rang the number and Jack just told me that there had been an accident.
