I get that.
And even without me knowing, because the whole process of the day, the funeral, it was completely surreal for me.
I remember I got up that morning.
like we brought her back to the house and she was in the sitting room.
Now I had the coffin closed because I just didn't, Liam was always so like, Oh mommy, you're, you know, you look like a princess when she was going out.
And like, you know, he thought she'd catch him like looking at her, you know, checking her out.
So I just didn't want, it didn't look like her and,
It did look like her, but it just didn't, you know.
So I didn't want them to see her.
And it had been 10 days as well.
So, you know, the coffin was closed in the house.
But I remember I got up at like four o'clock that morning and I just, I stood over the coffin and I was talking to her for probably an hour and a half or so.
Um, and then obviously we had the funeral then that day, but I was just so out of sorts during the whole ceremony.
To put it like it was just, it was horrendous, you know, but I somehow managed to stand up and just thank everyone because I couldn't talk about Claire.
I couldn't stand up and talk about Claire because I would have been just a ball, you know, but I was able to just get up and just thank everyone because I felt that they all needed support.
You know, they'd all been so good to us.
My sister, she got up and spoke about Claire and one of her friends and Chris got up and she had wrote a lovely poem and she read that out.
And I kind of thought, like, especially Chris's poem, like his...
it just really summed up what Clare was like as a person.
And I just thought, you know, that's enough.
