Let's say Trump and security threats and Ukraine and all of this has changed the whole world.

This is a big direction to go.

But if your narrative is only, I'm going to cut wind of fuel plants and I'll put it up again.

I'll cut down, you know, farmers inheritance and knock it up again.

It's just, who the hell are you appealing to?

Who are you exciting?

So one classic example, which I think confirms this point that Labour's missed a whole trick in the centre ground, is what's happened with Westminster Council.

So I voted Kensington Chelsea yesterday, Ponce Street Church.

These are voters who delivered Labour MP.

Westminster Council was lost in 2022.

And broadly speaking, if you go into that polling station, you would have felt that you were going back to 1980s.

It was a very, very nice, quiet, respectable, conservative lady.

I don't quite want to call her blue rinse, standing there politely with her piece of paper.

I don't tell you who I voted for.
