Yeah.
even finished two seconds behind, didn't she?
I mean it does work out for her.
That's the thing is um I think there was people in the press room saying, you know, she's kind of just oh you know, used too much.
And and of course, yeah, she you know, she probably did burn too many matches.
But then if no one else is looking to to put in the work, Elisa Longo Borghini is the kind of rider that does always contribute, doesn't she?
And it does often pay off for her.
I mean, I remember that real
crazy swashbuckling um adventure that was, you know, last year's uh Giro when, you know, she it was out of her grasp and she, you know, Giro is so important to her as an Italian rider and as and as a as a champion of it.
And she just wasn't gonna ha let it be wrenched away from her and there was kind of this slingshot type uh tactic with Sylvia Persco going ahead and then they both went off in a a a two up breakway.
She is very capable of you know, when you're watching and analysing things, um
of turning it on its head and still getting the result that she needed and
I spoke to her um
On the rollers.
I mean it's funny because uh I'd heard that, you know, she was very kind of happy with her sort of performance today.
She obviously was showing everyone how strong her legs are.
Um but yeah, she when I spoke to her, I wouldn't say happy was the kind of vibe that she was giving me.
