Or we don't want uh paper towels, which are usually dirty anyway, but paper towels, that kind of stuff that turns to mush.
But
The reason all of that isn't spelt out in detail in in all the marketing or whatever it is, is because we just want to make it nice and simple, get the bulk of it going correctly.
Um, if you start introducing too many rules, people kinda switch off, it's too hard.
Um, people ask me a lot about recycling th that that chasing triangle kind of with the arrows in the triangle.
Mm-hmm.
I think it has a name, I should not, but I've forgotten.
Um and they see that sign and then say, But it says it's recyclable 'cause it's got the triangle.
And so really my message for that is look, these are the rules, the ones I mentioned, which is your paper cardboard, metal cans and tins and your um rigid plastics of one, two and five.
And they're standardized across the country.
They're standardized for the DCC but they're standardized for all the different councils.
And so you just need to know those rules.

uh that has the arrows and maybe says it's recyclable because it doesn't it's not always the case.
So I often in my education use props and one of the things I bring along is a bit of um packaging.
It's like, you know, how old a courier bag or something like that, but um paper based on the outside.
And so one of them, same company, it says suitable for curbside paper recycling.
And you look at
A nice brown cardboardy paper on the outside, you open up the padding and it's recycled paper.
So great.
