So like soft plastics, for example, um there is an option for that recycling, you know, not in Curbside, but at some of the supermarkets, the warehouse, haraways up in Green Island.
And th a thing about that is recycling needs to be clean.
It can't be contaminated with food waste, with whatever it happens to be.
And so things like soft plastic
has often got breadcrumbs or it's been, you know, it's had something date sticky dates in it or something like that.
And so if you just provide that as curbside option, what you'll find is you're actually going to get a lot of contamination.
Yeah.
So having these alternative recycling for those people who want to recycle and are committed, just having it a step away is sometimes a a good option because what you ensure is that that product
is going to be recyclable.
Mm-hmm.
Um so that's like, yeah, that's coming to one of the questions where people often say, Why can't you include this?
And it's like because it's nice and simple, the rules at the moment for curbside.
We make it simple so that everyone can follow it.
And then if you want to go that bit extra, hopefully there's some options available.
Uh one thing people get a little confused about because like I say, simple rules, okay?
So paper, that's kind of the rule.
But if you dig down deeper into it, it's actually supposed to be a hundred millimeters by a hundred and forty millimeters minimum.
But let's say uh the size of your hand or a phone or or something like that, a small
envelope.
