The National Hockey League is not issuing supplemental discipline anymore.

That task has been sent over to the Department of Players' Safety.

So George Perelson and boys are going to take over handing out fines and suspensions for everything that's in the rulebook.

Now, the fans have not been happy with the DPS situation.

the way they've been handling things as far as the physical aspect of the rulebook, as far as boarding and illegal checks to the head.

They have not been happy because some issues have been skirted.

Others have been, I guess, either rightfully or not rightfully been supplemented.

There's been discipline for that.
