We do know from an administration official telling Bloomberg that they're looking to see how they can raise that quickly to 15 percent, the level that Donald Trump threatened.
And of course, that's potentially bad news for some key U.S.
allies like Australia and the UK, which stand to be worse off than the parameters of the trade deals that they've been agreeing with the U.S.

What this tells us is two things.
One is that Donald Trump keeps moving the goalposts on trade.
You think you've got one thing sorted and another thing immediately
crops up, be it tech, be it furniture or something else.
And the second thing is he really does zero in on these digital services tax.
He's been doing that for many years.
