Yeah.
You know, and I had kind of looked forward to traveling with the team because then at least there was some chill time, you know, when you were on the road.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly.
We'd get a night off occasionally or whatever, and, you know, at least you get some breaks during the day.
But during the early 80s, mid-80s, the league really kind of expanded significantly.
as far as consuming your time and responsibilities of people in those kind of positions.
It's hard to say because I don't think I did.
I really don't.
The way I was kind of hired and brought into the whole thing, just kind of thrust in with these guys.
And I knew what they were.
I admired them and appreciated their talent.
And when you're put into the game situations, you quickly realize...
the fan aspect of it.
So you figure out that all these people adore these guys and they admire them and whatnot.
So, I mean, you quickly realize what these players mean to the fans and to the game.
You know, teams have changed over the course of time since the 80s.
It was a different era back then.
You speak of Magic, you speak of Worthy and Byron and those kind of guys, you know, and it was a completely different climate, completely different caliber of player.
You know, it wasn't anywhere near what it grew into.
But it was enjoyable, extremely enjoyable, because those guys were, to me, still people.
