A lot of truth there, Andrew, especially uh as of today when we're now finally starting to see, as we probably could have predicted, uh a series of kind of angry uh truths uh from the president on his truth social matched

platform his comments this morning, and I'll just paraphrase here uh for our listeners if you're watching this, you you see the tweet up on the screen. matched

He's claiming that we're ripping the United States off for years. matched

Uh completely misconstrues uh the balance of trade, claiming a $60 billion deficit. matched

But then he goes on, Andrew, uh, this morning to um threaten more tariffs. matched

Uh 2027, January 1st, uh 50% on all cars, trucks, large and small, automotive parts and steel. matched

Um, Andrew, what do you make? matched

of this, I mean, it just seems as if uh this president has one gear, one speed. matched

Um there is I don't know l he has little credibility at this point. matched

Uh what do you make of it all? matched

Andrew, to play devil's advocate for a moment though, um matched

Japan, Europe, um, a lot of other advanced economies have matched

reached uh trade arrangements with the Trump administration. matched

And those arrangements have l largely seen them, you know, put aside at least, you know, the immediate threat of more tariffs and the economic instability associated with matched

the type of open ended negotiation or trade war that Canada's now in, uh settling for matched

uh a kind of blended tariff rate on their imports into the US of around fifteen percent. matched
