Um but managers need that around the squad at times.
But you are a player, so you also want to show them that you can play.

I don't think I'm that rotten, but uh sometimes my looks are pretty bad too.
But you know, uh we can't we can't always be right.
Uh but yeah, but look again, that that's part of it.
Again, it comes with maybe looking at your role as an experienced player.
You might not be playing all the time, but you have to put on a face and lead by example and help the younger ones, whatever that looks like.

I think maybe that's something that I had to go away and think about.
Am I happy to do that role if it means that maybe I won't be playing as much?
Um and then I got over myself.
Obviously the men's World Cup helped with that.
When you're looking at maybe England, the likes of Jordan Henderson and stuff going and sitting on a bench, I thought
He's really keen.
Like he's out taking out the warm up and stuff like that.
But I mean, I would be mortified if I go away at World Cup and break my arm without Stephanie.
That would be a a bad day.
I think obviously what we've seen with Henderson is like I I found that quite interesting because you're seeing some of the players about the squad talking about him, saying, No, we need him here, we need him here.
He's obviously a a figure that they all respect.
