I don't think I'm respected that much, but uh he's obviously good within the changing room with the lads.
Um he probably demands standards.
Obviously, you look at that England team and they're kind of star-studied.
And I think he must just have that level head where he's like going to go in, he doesn't care.
who you are and he's just gonna lead and do what's best for the team.
So I think that is really valuable to have and that's definitely why he was there.
Obviously got to play a few minutes and then he was obviously unlucky with that moment.
Bless him.
But um
He wants to do that and he was so keen.
Like you could see him in the warm ups, like he's going, That's my part.
I'm getting the lads ready for the game.
Um
I mean I don't warm up when I'm not playing, so I can't even do that role.
But maybe I'll need to change that this season.
But uh
No, I I thought uh looking at that I was like, Okay, yeah.
I think we all as sports people, um, and maybe certain lines of art, we all have a wee bit of an ego, but I think that comes with the the the role in the game.
So sometimes it's good to take a step back and kind of just be like, Right, okay.
Um and if he can do it, I kinda look and go, Well, you can do it too.
