And 2023 starts the journey without Dave for that next year.
And that year was tough.
It was me trying to jump back into a CEO role and trying to figure out how to run things and trying to, and we were bringing people in.
And again, we just bought these companies.
We're trying to, how do we juggle these companies with our own companies?
Plus we're trying to launch this new platform.
And, and I don't remember a lot of 2023.
I don't remember a lot of it.
It was, it was tough.
Towards the end of 2023,
My twin boys, our first born kids, they turned 18, which is crazy.
And so proud of them.
Man, I love my kids.
I have amazing kids, all of them.
And I remember at the end of 2023, they had their 18th birthday as twins.
18 year old birthday and we were planning in our minds like you know you have kids like you figure like you have your kids they're gonna graduate high school and then that point they're gonna leave and you're prepared for that so we're preparing for them like that you're leaving and I remember when our kids turned 18 one of our sons was like I'm 18 and he was ready to leave and to go into the world and he did and and I'm proud of him he's doing such a great job but I don't think Colette and I were ready for that like he leaves and it's just like
when you're not ready for that and going through the emotional turmoil that, how do I understand, like, how does this work?
He's not here anymore.
