If you are able to get that kind of season out of McKenna, you know you are going in a strong direction.
Even if you don't get that kind of season out of McKenna, that would maybe be comparable to how Schaefer really changed the dynamic of the Islanders to a point where would they get into the first season unless you say he's really good?

It's kind of hard to picture a world where they're not one of the 18, not saying it's guaranteed, but if you're the Leafs, that's the barometer you're trying to figure out is where do you fit within that landscape of teams that maybe were on the outside looking in and how close to the inside are you?
