And then I closed for a year.

three years so um but yeah the you know the rehab is key don't miss it you can't miss days you miss days you're gonna set yourself behind and you think you're fine but you're not and that's the one thing i know about shane this dude prepares as well as anybody you wouldn't do have the kind of career you know pre-surgery that he's had so um i think he's just gonna be just fine

Yeah, I think command, you know, velocity and all those kinds of things.

I know we're chasing that constantly, but to me, if a guy coming off Tommy John has command of his pitches, it tells me that he's feeling healthy because when you don't, you're backing off something or you're maybe, you know, a little timid or you're, you know, you're trying to fight through something.

And, and for, for me, when I evaluate guys coming off Tommy John, because I've been there and I've seen it, and I've also seen it with other guys who've gone through it and you watch, you're like, man, this, the command's not there.

He's not quite right.

And also patience, you know, a little bit of patience from fans.

You know, it might be good the first time out and then the second time out.

And then there could be a little bit of a lull.

That's the nature of the beast.

But I think what he went through last year and then having the rest this year at the beginning of the year, I think ultimately, I think he'll be strong.

He knows himself as well as anybody.

And the Blue Jays did a tremendous job of kind of walking through the beginning of the season.

And what a tool to have for the second half of the season.

Now you're back, you're at .500.

And it's go time.
