I could see him making a career out of being a complimentary winger in the top nine.

Along with draft picks like Malhotra and Novotny, it feels to me like the Canucks are building their team around high character, high compete players.

And I agree with all of that.

Um Braden Coot's high character for sure.

There's no way that he would have gotten the time in the lineup he did last year.

Three games that he got if he wasn't a high character or high compete player, uh, especially for a coach like uh Adam Foote, who was looking for anything positive uh to highlight.

Uh so yeah, and I agree.

I don't think Vancouver would be very happy with that outcome.

I think uh they could move him to the wing, but but he is a center, like he plays center, and I think NHL teams really prioritize players who can take face-offs and play well two-way up and down the

the ice.

So I think if you give them a choice between making him the third line left wing or the third line right wing and the four line center, I think they probably pick the center just so they could be very confident that he will uh he will present, you know, an option for them down the middle of the ice.

Um I could definitely see him if he ends up on the wing in a role similar to the one Connor Garland filled in Vancouver.

Uh if that's where he ends up, you know, that that might be you know a decent play

And just be very kind of competitive.

uh in that role.

But if they want to keep him down the middle, I think you're looking at kind of a three C or a four C from for Braden Coots for sure.

And we'll we will see kind of how they are going to work with him because he is eligible Elon for the AHL due to this new nineteen year old rule that's coming in.

Uh so I imagine Abbotsford is kind of his primary home next year.

But I again I wouldn't be surprised given the lack of quality in the Vancouver Canucks lineup, I wouldn't be surprised if he's
