He needs to compete a little bit more to stick in that kind of middle six scoring role.

A winger who can get you 60 to 70 points, but it is lofty to be sure when you consider what he has to develop.

But he could develop, there's no, there's no denying it.

Yeah, I mean I like Novotny as a player.

He's a a much more complete player than either of the Rux or than, you know, I think we just talked about JP Hilbert.

Like more complete player, certainly.

Um, he's going to be better on the defensive side of the puck for sure.

He's definitely, I think, for Vancouver in this entire draft, he's the best value pick for Vancouver because you're getting a player who will approach like a Caleb Malhocher level of relevance in the lineup, but you're getting him at twenty four.

Instead of at you know three.

Uh and so I I'm very happy with uh with that kind of value for Vancouver, especially this is a team that has almost no value, so they really need to start building uh and they need to start building yesterday.

So he will, you know, eventually, I think, likely replace Brock Besser in the lineup.

This is kind of a again, like a middle six-ish kind of two-way presence.

He will give more on that side of the puck than Brock Besser ever did.
