He's having a good camp, and he seems to be ahead of Shelby Harris, which surprises me because I thought it would be Shelby Harris and –
DJ Reader on the inside, and DJ Reader has been used more in obvious run situations, whereas Darius Alexander, I thought, might be a backup or more obvious pass situations.
It seems like he's the guy who gets the two-thirds to Shelby's one-third.
So assuming he continues to have a good camp, I would say he's tied to his camp, and right now it's trending upwards.
Remember, he was a healthy scratch week one, maybe week two, too.
A healthy scratch, which was Andre Patterson's doing, and I don't think that people above Andre Patterson loved that.
So that is an example, I think, of a Harbaugh staff where I think if the defensive line coach said we this guy's not performing, he's a healthy scratch.
I think Harbaugh would take his position coach's word for it.
And I think Shane would take Harbaugh's word for it.
And that would be that rather than, oh, we got to get this guy in because like he's our third round pick.
