So yes, it was a tiring week last week.
I think all US Opens are, but Shinnecock feels just that little bit more testing for whatever reason.
Well, I played 18 and I had some very bad memories of that place.
And it was very fair this year, to be honest.
You know, the USGA obviously got it right the first couple of days with the win that we were winning.
I think we would have struggled to get round if the course was as firm as it was on Sunday, on Thursday.
You know, Chris Goddard's ball was moving Sunday morning on the greens, or was it Saturday morning on the greens?
And, you know, Thursday they were slow and soft.
And, you know, obviously Wyndham went out and played great, but the scoring still wasn't spectacular.
And then...
They let it kind of firm up, and I think by Sunday it got to about what it was on Thursday in 2018.
Obviously on Sunday we had nice conditions, and if you played well you could still score, but there was still plenty of carnage out there if you didn't control your ball very well.

I mean, even the fairways being wide, there's a lot of, sorry, I've got a five-year-old annoying me.
It's in my backpack.

Yeah, so I think the fairways are still hard to hit because a lot of them sit at angles, a lot of them run crosswinds.
You still have to control your ball well off the tee.
There is some that are fairly appetizing, like the ninth fairway, for example, which kind of bowls in from all directions.
But it also becomes, you know if you miss the fairway,
