I really appreciate the opportunity to join you today.
Yeah, and thanks for the opportunity to dive into that, Rich, because it has been a journey.
And so I was reflecting on it at the turn of the new year, and this is my 30th year in the industry.
And so I started out in the networking side, the early days of the internet, and just by happenstance,
found myself in the data center world and didn't really understand it in the early 2000s with some of the integration of assets into a network company, but spent the last 20 years kind of on that data center journey.
and, you know, stints at Digital Realty Trust, Equinix, and then had the opportunity to come to Flex Central because it had all those same traits and, you know, very deep background in solutioning, networking.
And, you know, I just saw that, you know, Flex Central is that right company to help, you know, move my career, but also for me to contribute back to it.
And so it's been a heck of a journey and, you know, I'm nowhere near being done.
Flexential was the combination of Peak10 and ViaWest, so East Coast, West Coast regional operators.
They were brought together in 2017 and that created Flexential.
It was a dynamic platform that has evolved into one of the premier enterprise platforms in the United States.
We've got 42 data centers across 18 markets.
i've got four data centers under development for another 120 megawatts and then you know another 280 megawatts in process of being brought into the development fleet and so we really took the business from those small regional operators into this dynamic platform that's really focused on servicing wholesale and multi-tenant customers wholesale being 1 to 20 megawatts multi-tenant being below that one megawatt and what really makes flexential unique
is this network backplane that we use to connect all the data centers together.
Especially in this constrained marketplace where the supply-demand continuum is really out of whack, so to speak, it really allows us to meet customers' needs,
where they may not have been able to get that space and power in a direct market.
We can put them in an adjacent market or data center just to help supply that.
And when you think about the types of customers Flexential is serving, it really aligns that wholesale multi-tenant model.
And so we're focused on the agentic AI players, small inference nodes, the AI type of on-ramps.
