And I think people hear a number like that and it might sort of not register, so let me put it properly. matched

73 kilometers isn't just a little bit further up the same valley or over the next ridge. matched

It's essentially the entire width of the Coromandel Peninsula. matched

Crosby's clearing sits on the western side behind Thames, looking out over the firth, and her barn was found right over on the eastern side, in the bush, at the back of a farm in Parakwai behind Fongamatar. matched

A different coast, a different valley, and about as far from where the crown told that jury he died as you could get, and still be standing on the same peninsula. matched

And in the 35 years since, nobody has ever explained how he came to be there. matched
