Okay it is 5.30 in the morning and I'm on the road to the Auckland airport and today I'm going to do something that I've been planning on doing for a while now but only recently we've sort of had the opportunity to track him down and that's speak to Gus.
That's the goal of what I'm going out to do today.
We managed to find an address that we think could still be current.
It was current as of last year.
Will it still be current today?
I'm not sure but I'm gonna fly down to Dunedin in the South Island.
and I've hired a car and I'm gonna go drive out to this place and I'm gonna knock on the door and see if we can get lucky here.
I have really no idea what to expect.
You know, as usual.
Today I believe
Gus would be late 60s even potentially early 70s off the top of my head doesn't mean someone can't be dangerous though but yeah we'll see what this day will bring I feel like as we draw to a close at the end of this season it's kind of something that's either going to you know extend this season further than what I'm anticipating or it's going to be that
that kind of closer the closer of a certain part of the investigation you know could Gus be our man you know not saying that I could necessarily get that answer just by meeting him but I think I'll certainly get a feeling but yeah I will touch base with you again when I land and on the plane I'll try and think up a bit of a strategy in case he does open the door
But it should be a fun day.
It was the 10th of August, 2025, when I released the first episode of Season 6 of Guilt.
At that point, I had no idea that this would be, by far, the most challenging case in my career.
Three women, all gone, disappeared virtually without a trace.
And one man, seemingly at the center of it all, Derek Sam.
Despite his claims of innocence, on paper, it seemed fairly clear that he was responsible for the murder of 16-year-old teenager Jessica Gordy.
But what about Selina Bridge and Sabrina Ann Glassop?
Were their disappearances and assumed murders also the work of this same man?
