And I think you hear in the podcast, I'm like, Oh, Hey mate, I thought it was just a random person.
And no, that was the one I'm looking for.
Um, and you know, he ended up being super friendly.
So it shows that, um,
Time can change people in positive ways.
And he obviously doesn't appear to be the person that he once was, you know, so...
uh yeah it was but i and i know you're talking about because i mentioned the podcast that while i'm out on the road now and this is a relatively new phenomenon for me is i have the research team and we've got our chat going on and they're feeding me addresses and so on and so forth as i'm on the road and it's been amazing for me it speeds up my whole process so i don't have to stop
try and look up places once i've hit a dead end you know i literally just get back in my car look there's a message with a new address and i'm like sweet and i start driving um but anyway because i'm communicating with them they're saying shit man be careful like where what are you doing like this is this is scary uh and i'm just like no no it's all good i'll talk to you when i get out
Yeah, that's a really good point.
I think when you look at this from the surface, right, it certainly made out that he's pretty much like a simpleton.
He's just the way you would sort of describe it.
And actually speaking to, you know, it's one thing to speak to people who knew of him or who know about the case, but it's another to speak to people who actually knew him and knew him from a, in the orbit of like, not as a criminal, just as a person.
And I think I speak about it in there, like my conversation with Bob sample, which I don't believe I've shared yet in the podcast, which will be coming up.
And we speak about yet more about Derek Salmon,
in terms of his character.
And when I spoke to this guy from Pyburn, he sort of reinforced those same things that I'd heard from Bob, which were positive things, saying that, yeah, I mean, he was adept, he was clever.
I think what we would say is that clever in terms of what he did, he was really good with horses and all of that kind of thing.
There's all kinds of different
intelligence right you know just because you're not book smart doesn't mean you're not really good at something else um yeah i mean he didn't really have anything negative to say and you know he he sort of said you know he was shocked still can't quite understand you know about it but he said that you know at the end of the day like
