From the people I've sort of spoken to, you know, he obviously sounds like he's,

can be an absolute piece of work some of the things that he's done but also I think he can be one of these kind of characters who is a bit of a sort of confidence grifter if that's the right phrase you know someone who when you first meet them they can actually come across as being nice or lure you into that false sense of security

So, you know, I sort of expect that if I meet him, that that's what I'm going to get.

I think given the time that has been, you think about it, it's been 25 years, you know, since he would have been spoken to by police about this, I'd imagine.

I couldn't say the exact time frame, but...

I'm going to show up out of the blue in another country, knocking on his door, asking him about Anne Glasser.

I think that's probably going to catch him.

Well, it's obviously going to catch him absolutely out of left field.

So it will be very interesting to see what his reaction to that's going to be.

And I think because it's so left field...

you know, there's a good chance that he might not just slam the door in my face.

As I make my way into the outskirts of Dunedin, I find myself in a largely commercial, industrial area.

Not necessarily a place you'd expect to find residential accommodation.

But sure enough, as I come up and around a bend, I see the block of flats appearing on my right.

Okay, it's telling me in 600 metres my destination's going to be on the right.

I'm just in a bit, yeah, it's a bit of a cross-section between a commercial industrial area and some residential.

It looks like fairly low decile housing through here.

Okay, I think I can see it.
