So for the first time since 1996, the world is holding more gold than U.S.
bonds.
Is this a sign of changing times, of a world that is less desirous of U.S.
Turning home for a second, the personal saving rate has been declining all 2025 long.
How long can that keep going before something in the economy breaks?
Lastly, for many Americans now and definitely this weekend, it is freezing cold.
Like the temperature in Minneapolis is minus 21 degrees, which is insane.
