And, uh, I've gained a bunch of fat and, uh, probably lost some muscle since then.
Um, I've always leaned toward being more skinny.
Um, and always kind of thought of that myth of being a hard gainer, but, um, um,
I was doing CrossFit for about four or five days a week for about two years, and I quit because I was in a pretty bad place physically.
I was really run down.
All my lifts were suffering, and they regressed.
I couldn't touch any of my 1RMs from previous strength cycles.
Um, I was also full carnivore for most of that.
Cause yeah, uh, I've had, uh, struggled with gut issues for the past, like eight, 10 years.
And, uh,
I did a lot of keto carnivore on and off, but then I did a stint of about three years of full carnivore.
Um, but towards the end, um, I started reintroducing carbs and I was tolerating them doing well.
So, uh, I was adding them in, in the last strength cycle and it really didn't seem to help.
Um, in hindsight, I probably was over-training under eating.
So, uh,
even with the carbs, I probably still didn't have, uh, enough calories, but, um, and just to speak to the injuries, uh, I herniated a disc like 15 years ago, uh, got x-rays, went through a chiropractor.
He got me mobile again, but, um,
After that, a lot of re-aggravations and triggers, lifting stuff.
And I'd be back at the chiropractor.
I actually went through physical therapy twice for it because it was pretty bad.
