And I'm like, how much is a coffee at the airport?

I'm horrified.

I'm like, a little sad egg and cheese sandwich at the airport these days is like $20.

A lot of these cards just compel you to spend even more money, and that's not what I want you to do.

I want you to be able to save money and not feel like you're forced to spend money on a Peloton just to save some money on the free Peloton subscription or something like that.

If you are really stretching yourself to justify the value, then already automatic no.

But what I do is I have tons and tons of credit cards that all have all these expiring credits and it'll be like a monthly Uber expiring credit.

And then another card is a monthly Lyft expiring credit.

And so I have to track, did I take a Lyft this month?

Did I take an Uber this month?

What I actually do is I have a running list of all my benefits and when they're going to expire.

And then I just check them off if I used them.

And if I didn't use them, then that's a good mental note of maybe I should cancel this card because I'm not getting any value out of it.

For me, something like the Amex Platinum card, which has a annual fee close to $1,000, that one, I actually don't even bother to track it because I know I get so much benefit.
