It brings tears and emotions to me because at most times people see the glory, yeah?
They see the win, they see Tonga sitting at top 10, they see
a team that kind of like just glided there.
But my tears are tears of happiness, but also reflect our journey.
It was not easy.
There's quite a few challenges that our young girls in Tonga have.
One is the facilities.
We do not have the proper facilities that the children overseas have.
The best in terms of facility available to us at the moment is a bank car park.
which is a multi-purpose that we use when the bank closes.
That's what we use for our programs.
Tonga is hosting the Pacific Games in 2031.
Where Netball is at now, we hope to continue to steadily grow and develop.
And hopefully by then, which is our next biggest dream, is to have our own arena by 2031 here in Tonga.
I want to represent my country with pride, represent my last name with pride, and not only that, but also the little boys, little girls, anyone who is Tongan or Pacific Islander watching to know that we are strong, we are mighty, and we will take on any challenge with two hands.
There's a saying, and it's like, stay fafeca, which means stay strong.
Like, fafeca means strong.
So I feel like I want to prove that
