And it just shows you how hard it is to get out of that position because we're still not clear yet, you know, having won five out of six.
So we've got to keep ploughing on and keep pushing on.
And with this level of performance, if they continue that level, then I think we'll be OK.
Probably another three, but as each game comes, try and pick the points up.
I think the most important thing today was with a lot of teams we had two games in hand on, so I said to the players, if you've got those games in hand, you've got to get the points if you get the game in hand.
So we've got that, we've got more than what most people probably expected today.
everybody would have thought a draw would have been a good result, but we've got three points and that was a fair result for us today.
So we had the hardest running, we've got two of the hardest teams out the way and we beat them both, and we've still got Man City away, Man United away, Liverpool away, Tottenham at home, and then we've got Burnley I think it is,
and Leicester, so we're in a very good mood at the moment, so I hope the lads can keep it up, and today it was done with a few players injured, so those players coming back from injury will help the squad as well, and like I said, everybody can enjoy tonight and then get back to work tomorrow morning.
What did you make of that, Sam?
I thought second half we did enough to maybe pinch the game 1-0, enough chances to maybe score and not with saying that Arsenal didn't have any chances, they did, but I thought we coped extremely well with the amount of possession they had and did limit them to...
mostly shots outside the box.
But in the second half, once we shut El Nani and Ramsey down and stopped them playing, which they did in the first half and we gave them too much control, we started to get amongst it, started to win more possession, started to use the ball better and then put the Arsenal back four under quite a lot of pressure in the second half.
So I was very pleased with the turnaround in our performance at half-time to put a lot of pressure on Arsenal but couldn't find a goal.
Could you have had one given against you, Yedlin?
Well, I've looked at that and I would say that Yedlin has no chance of getting his arm out of the way because it hits his leg and his arm.
If he's shooting his arms, sliding his arms up here and it hits his arm directly from the shot, then I would say that was a penalty.
But I'd say it hit De André's leg first, then hit his arm.
I can't see that being any chance of being a penalty there.
We're heading down the right track and when you play an Arsenal in the Formula Union recently and you take them right to the wire and have as many chances as them, I think you know and I think the lads know they're going down the right track.
