And I was just a kid.
And I used to cut his grass, wash his cars, carry his groceries for little odds and ends to stay out of trouble.
And as time went on, like he saw me gain respect from my peers and everything, start selling grass.
And eventually he approached me and asked me to sell dope for him, sell drugs.

So, you know, he, he pulled me over to the side and was like, man, I seen you didn't came up.
I can get you whatever you want.
And I'm like, I ain't with the hard jaws, man.
Just first of all, I don't want to do it.
I'm like, nope.
No, thank you.
Because when I was in New Orleans, a friend of mine, when we were kids, some older people fronted him some drugs, and when he didn't come up with all of the money, they killed him.
And they killed him really bad.
They dismembered his body, cut his head off, all the stuff, put it in the garbage can with his head on top.
And, um...
It was real messed up.
So I never forgot that.
And when I came to California, I always promised myself I would never let nobody front me no dope.
Not legitimately anyway.
