But it's essentially it forms the structure for what the Ukraine war is, which is a collaborative effort to push back against and supplant NATO on the Eurasian continent.
Jo yeah, another line is join hands with progressive courses across the world, advance the noble cause of human peace and development.
But on the eightieth anniversary of of victory
In World War II in Asia, Xi Jinping was standing next to Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un, which I think teaches us something about what the nature of this order might look like.
And there are also, as you alluded to earlier, Henrietta, there are there are a lot of interest here in the global commons, and that there's international financial architecture as mentioned, as is AI, cyberspace, climate change, trade, outer space, and so on.
And so it's it's it's well timed this release, because those are all areas where the world perceives that America is or America under Trump, I should say, is
is seeding leadership.
Hmm.
I think it could cut in a couple of directions.
As you say, China's economy is under strain in in lots of ways.
There are fiscal pressures.
Consumption is down.
So that scenario would mean that China's facing more constraints in terms of which resources it has available and where it chooses to to spend them.
The second uh what's also a feature of China's economy is that the economy is also being held up by its export base, had the largest trade surplus ever, and it really is an export story, and without those exports, the economy would be in really serious trouble.
It's a bit of a paradox in that Xi Jinping in in seeking to pursue this policy of dual circulation, which is really just an attempt to insulate the Chinese economy from dependencies and create dependencies on the Chinese economy, particularly through exports, has actually opened up a vulnerability in that China is vulnerable to trade action now in a way
That could be really destabilizing.
And I just wonder how that plays on to force projection in that, you know, a lot of overseas adventurism or at least the kind of concerns that have triggered action abroad, whether it's, I'm not necessarily saying military action, but just greater involvement in countries that host important export markets or important industrial facilities.
It might incentivize China to be more interventionist in order to protect that export economy.
Something I'm sure that we'll see evolve over the coming years.
Right.
