So why does that then matter commercially to an investor who might be looking at wind today and particularly I guess you're thinking about the G B market?

We've got huge ambitions to grow wind portfolio out, not just to the Clean Power twenty thirty, but even beyond that, the government has very strong targets for both onshore.

And offshore wind.

So whilst it's trying to attract investment, what does this kind of cannibalization effect actually therefore mean for people looking commercially?

We're gonna jump into the analysis that Bertie and the team did in a second.

But David, one of the things that Bertie's gonna talk about is almost routes to market, I suppose, for wins, where Bertie's just mentioned this kind of you know low marginal cost and actually you need to still value that.

Perhaps you can just introduce things like PPAs or contract for difference or ways that EDF engage in this market.

So this really is a kind of a risk allocation model, right?

From a PPA is to kind of, you know, who's carrying that risk and who's best placed to carry that.

Bertie, the report that you looked into then was focusing on the cannibalization effect and and PPAs.

Now, the kind of cannibalization point you've just made isn't particularly a new concept.

You know, we've kind of been talking about it for a number of years.

I guess it's becoming a bigger issue because of the amount of wind that's coming on and perhaps gonna become an even bigger issue.

Is that the reason why it's becoming more imp what's kind of changed to prompt us to take a look at this?
