And we say, okay, well, you should have Y amount of dollars left over.
And they say, oh no, there's nothing left over.
Yeah.
So you're spending what you earn.
And they question themselves.
They say, surely I'm not.
Well, the evidence says you are.
You're spending what you're earning.
Yeah, I think one of the most powerful things that people can do is understand what they spend.
Once again, there is no right answer, there's no wrong answer.
If you spend a lot, you spend a lot.
If you don't spend much, you don't spend much.
But understanding what you spend is really, really powerful.
Because if you know what goes out and you know what comes in, you've then got a decision to make around what you do with any surplus.
And if that's an offset account or if that's investing...
Prevailing market conditions might sway you one way or the other or your personality type might, but there's a lot of power in understanding what you spend.
