The six teams that did it before them, so whoever led from 17 to 19, whoever led from 16 to 18, the six teams that had also led that category all made the playoffs within three seasons after they had that three-year span.
And the Royals three years later were losing 106 games after 18 to 20.
And so the point is your this this is evidence that supports your point, which is wherever you go, like you have to hit on your top picks because that's what those other teams had done because they had been given more draft capital.
They use the draft capital at least effectively enough to be in the postseason.
Within three years.
I'm not saying it was sustainable for all those teams.
I mean, the Reds were in there.
The Guardians were in there, who obviously had sustained success.
But every team had at least sniffed it.
It took the Royals an extra year to do it.
